Eclaro acquires a Contact Center Company and an accredited College in the Philippines

New York, NY, Nov. 18, 2013 — Eclaro, a human capital solutions company headquartered in New York with operations throughout the United States, Canada, and the Philippines, has extended its capabilities by acquiring Cosmotec Contact Centre, an ISO-certified business process outsourcing (BPO) firm and Cosmotec College. Both are based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Cosmotec Contact Centre specializes in both voice and non-voice services, and has established itself as a reliable solutions partner for international clients with outbound and inbound contact campaigns in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and other Asian countries.

Eclaro already provides information technology and business process services from its Quezon City facilities.

“We are particularly pleased with Cosmotec’s pool of well-trained and professional agents who provide excellent call center and online services,” said Tom Sheridan, a Principal at Eclaro. “That gives us the ability to respond to customers who have been asking for a total contact center solution.”

Cosmotec Contact Centre is known for its flexible, cost-efficient, and customer-focused approach in delivering total services that exceed client expectations. The second acquisition, Cosmotec College, which is an accredited four-year degree-granting institution, has the distinct advantage of providing year-round skills training and scholarships to potential professional recruits to the IT/BPO industry.

“We believe the College will give us a competitive advantage by providing a direct pipeline of well-trained talent to the contact center and now to Eclaro in support of our IT and other BPO offerings,” Sheridan said. Cosmotec College grants diplomas in computer programming, computer hardware servicing, English proficiency, and call center operations.

Cosmotec College also offers certification programs in related fields, as well as college degrees in English and Communication Arts. College faculty have the knowledge and capability to create learning programs that meet the unique needs of Eclaro’s clients.

Cosmotec Contact Center and Cosmotec College will be rebranded Eclaro Contact Solutions and Eclaro Academy, respectively, effective immediately.

Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) Relief

Our Quezon City based Eclaro International Philippines, Inc. staff, our global Eclaro International Inc. staff, and our Clients have done an amazing job compiling donations and relief supplies for the victims of #TyphoonYolanda (Haiyan) in the Philippines. We delivered our first batch of relief supplies 11/12 for shipment to Leyte in partnership with Philippines Norway Business Council in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, the ship will sail for 36 hours and will reach Leyte Thursday 11/14. The ship will return to Manila and will make a second trip. We are working in partnership with several relief organizations to deliver supplies to the victims asap!
